Meet Adrian

Hello, I’m Adrian Muxlow, a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with seven years of full-time experience, based in North Hertfordshire, UK. My journey into hypnotherapy began with a deeply personal and transformative experience: I successfully stopped smoking after just one session with a hypnotherapist. That moment sparked a passion in me and led me to study hypnotherapy for two years. Today, I help others experience similar life-changing transformations. 

I specialize in helping clients overcome anxiety, guiding them toward a more peaceful and balanced life. In particular, Dental Anxiety can be debilitating. But visiting the Dentist really can be as easy as relaxing in my chair!  

 My approach is always adaptive—I carefully listen to what my clients share, how they express it, and tailor every session to meet their unique needs. 

With a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the University of West London, I also bring expertise in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT). In fact, IEMT is a cornerstone of my work with anxiety clients, as it provides a quick and direct way to address deeply rooted challenges. 

 

I believe lasting change is possible for everyone. The issues we struggle with aren’t innate; they’re learned behaviours. Using hypnosis as a powerful tool, I help clients unlearn unhelpful patterns and replace them with healthier, more empowering ones. This process is not only effective but often faster than people imagine. 

My clients appreciate the care and attention I bring to each session. Watching their old, negative patterns dissolve and seeing the look of disbelief as they embrace positive change is the most rewarding part of my work.
